Christmas hog roast for your Christmas party in Redbridge

It’s dark before 4pm in December, so we set up in daylight and roast through the afternoon. We’ll need light around the serving area. For family Christmas gatherings and boxing Day and New Year gatherings, we will put together a menu of rotisserie chicken, crackling and halloumi skewers and more.

For a Christmas party near Redbridge, firm, lit ground near the house or hall is key, as fields are often soft. Plates come as standard, and china crockery is available on request, quoted separately.

For events on land you don’t own, such as a park or field, the landowner needs to agree to cooking and vehicles. Sort that first.

What comes off the roaster

Rotisserie chicken

Chicken from the rotisserie gives people a non-pork choice, turned until the skin is golden.

Halloumi and vegetable skewers (V)

Not everyone eats meat, so halloumi and vegetable skewers make sure they’re not left with just salad.

A hog roast compared with other options

At a winter fair, hot pork rolls are always popular. When comparing prices, compare the same things: the menu, sides, service time, staffing, crockery and travel. A cheaper headline price can leave things out.
