A hog roast or other catering?

At the end of a shoot, a hog roast feels like a reward. What you pay covers the meat, the chef and staff, and hours of roasting. A long, slow roast means an early start, which is built into the price.

Why us?

  • Fresh carving at the serving station
  • Halloumi skewers and a vegan option too
  • Crackling for everyone who wants it
  • A clear quote with everything listed

Read our prices page or the cost guide.

Working with your venue

Planning on behalf of a committee? One clear contact makes everything easier, especially on the day.

If you are a venue or event planner, we’re happy to work alongside your team, sharing timings and a site plan.

The process

Service is quick once we start carving: the chef carves and the team serves, and sides go out at the same time. Afterwards we clear the serving area and pack away. On a winter shoot near Temple Hill, the light goes by about 3:50pm, so a late lunch or wrap at base needs lighting. Summer shoots have daylight until about 9:20pm.

  1. The production office sends us the location, dates, numbers and lunch time.
  2. We check access to base and quote.
  3. Our position and arrival are agreed in advance.
  4. When lunch is called, we carve and serve quickly.
  5. We pack up and leave the base tidy.
