How our BBQ catering works in Bagmore

BBQ catering means we bring the barbecue and do the cooking. We cook on site at your event in Bagmore, outdoors under cover, and our staff serve and clear. We serve chicken skewers, sausages and BBQ ribs, and we’re regularly asked to cater club open days and charity fundraisers.

A barbecue in the countryside near Bagmore makes a lovely summer party. Have a covered area for guests in wet weather, and think about lighting if it runs late. Plates come as standard, with china available if you’d like it, at an extra cost.

Looking after everyone

Allergies and dietary needs are easy to manage if we know in advance. Tips:

  • Ask us to label vegetarian and vegan food
  • Give us numbers for the meat-free options
  • Let us know roughly how many children are coming
  • Plan separately for anyone who needs halal food

We cook as your guests come up, and our staff serve and keep the queue moving.

Ask for gluten-free rolls if needed.

What happens on the day

Before service, we set up the grill and the serving table on the agreed spot. Then it’s a case of cooking and serving for as long as we’ve agreed. At midsummer, it is light in Bagmore until about 9:25pm, so an evening barbecue can run late in daylight. By late September, sunset is nearer 7:10pm.

  1. Tell us about your event: date, address and numbers.
  2. We check the space and send a quote with the menu.
  3. We arrive in good time and get the barbecue hot.
  4. At food time, we cook and serve.
  5. We tidy up and pack away.

Preparing for the day

  • Give us final numbers a week or so before
  • Choose someone to meet us on arrival
  • Make sure the cooking area is away from walls, tents and trees

How to get a price

A barbecue or other catering?

Next to doing the barbecue yourself, nobody you know spends the event at the grill, and the cooking is in experienced hands. Cost depends on numbers, menu choices and service time, plus travel and access. There is no one-size price, which is why each one gets its own quote.

Why us?

  • Hot food straight off the grill
  • A choice of salads and potatoes
  • Serving and clearing done for you
  • A full barbecue menu

How we price a catered barbecue

The biggest factors are:

  • Plates or china
  • The date and time of year
  • Access to the cooking area
  • Distance from us

Weekday and off-season dates can be easier to book, and the menu you choose makes a difference too. Ask us and we’ll suggest the best fit for your budget.

What we need to know

For a quick, accurate price, tell us:

  • Rough numbers
  • Any dietary needs or allergies
  • Your date and serving time
  • Where the event is

Every quote lists the menu, the serving time, staff and plates, so you can compare caterers fairly. Use our quote form.

Working with your venue

For events on land you don’t own, such as a park or field, the landowner needs to agree to cooking and vehicles. Get that agreed before booking.

Some venues add a fee for outside caterers, so it is worth asking first. We will liaise with them on access and set-up.

  • Grilled at your venue, outdoors and under cover
  • Burgers, sausages and chicken, plus ribs, pulled pork and brisket
  • Vegetarian and vegan options: halloumi skewers and a vegan burger or sausage
  • Served when you’re ready, and we tidy the serving area afterwards
