What BBQ catering costs
Each price is built from:
- Site access
- How many people are eating
- The date and time of year
- Crockery choices
Weekday and off-season dates can be easier to book, and the menu you choose makes a difference too. Tell us your budget and we will suggest what works.
What to tell us
These are the details we need:
- Any dietary needs or allergies
- An estimate of numbers
- Where the event is
- Anything the venue has asked for
Send us the date, the address or RG12 postcode and rough numbers, plus when you’d like to eat. We will confirm availability and send a price. Fill in our quote form.
BBQ catering for your event in Wildridings
We cook outdoors, under cover, on a spot we agree with you, away from buildings, fences and overhanging branches. Send us a photo of the space and we’ll confirm it. We serve BBQ ribs, chicken skewers and sausages, and we are regularly asked to cater reunions and family get-togethers and big birthday parties.
In a place like Wildridings, a barbecue at home is typically the easiest option. Tell us about the drive and the garden, and we’ll do the rest. Our staff serve and clear, so you are not left handing out rolls or tidying up afterwards.

Looking after everyone
Allergies and dietary needs are easy to manage if we know in advance. Some ideas:
- Tell us how many vegetarians and vegans to expect
- Ask about allergies when guests reply
- Keep the meat-free options clearly labelled
- Halal is not offered, so arrange it separately if needed
Our staff keep the serving table tidy and topped up, right through the service.
Ask for gluten-free rolls if needed.
Is a barbecue right for your event?
Next to a hog roast, a barbecue gives more choice, with beef, chicken and pork rather than one main meat. A hog roast feeds everyone at once and makes a centrepiece, so for bigger events, why not both?. The menu makes a big difference to the price: burgers and sausages cost less than brisket and ribs, so the quote shows each choice. Tell us your budget and we will suggest a menu.
Why us?
- Add a hog roast alongside
- Planned to your running order
- Our chef at the grill, not you
- No surprises: everything in writing

How the day works
One of us cooks, the others serve, so the queue keeps moving. After service, we clear up and pack away. Autumn and winter barbecues in Wildridings get dark early: about 7:05pm by late September and 3:55pm by December. A lunchtime barbecue avoids the dark.
- First, you send us your date, venue, numbers and serving time.
- You get a check on the date and the spot, and a quote.
- On the day, we set up on the agreed spot and get the grill hot.
- At serving time, the chef grills and the team serves.
- Afterwards we clear up and leave the spot tidy.
How to prepare
- Think about lights for the serving area after dark
- Choose someone to meet us on arrival
- Ask about allergies and dietary needs beforehand
