Slow-roasted pork in North Boarhunt

What a hog roast costs

We do not use a fixed price list, because every wedding is different. What matters most:

  • The number of people
  • Plates or china
  • Which meats and sides you choose
  • Access to the cooking area

Numbers make the biggest difference: the price per head normally falls as numbers rise, because the roaster, staff and travel cost much the same either way.

Getting an accurate quote

Here’s what we’ll ask:

  • Your menu choices
  • Rough numbers
  • The venue or postcode
  • Your date and serving time

Numbers not final yet? Give us your best estimate and we will quote on that, then confirm closer to the date. Send us your details through our quote form.

Wedding hog roast in North Boarhunt, slow-roasted on site

Not every guest eats pork, so we plan for that: spit-roast lamb, rotisserie chicken, halloumi and vegetable skewers and a vegan option. We don’t offer halal meat. For anniversary vow renewals and marquee receptions, we can cook carved roast pork, new potatoes and salads.

There’s something special about a country wedding near North Boarhunt, and slow-roasted pork carved for guests adds to it. Plan a firm route in, especially if it rains. You’ll know what’s included before booking: serving times, the menu, staff and anything else agreed.

Planners, venues and businesses

If the event is on someone else’s land, you’ll need the landowner’s permission for cooking and vehicles. Sort that first.

Marquee suppliers generally set distances for cooking equipment, so let them know about the roaster. The roaster stays a safe distance from the marquee.

The menu, dish by dish

Rotisserie chicken

Rotisserie chicken is there for anyone who’d rather not have pork, and it suits fussy eaters.

Crackling

Good crackling needs time and heat, which is exactly what a slow hog roast gives it.
