BBQ catering for your event in East End
A home barbecue means hours at the grill and a pile of washing up. With BBQ catering, all of that is done for you, so you can spend the time with your guests. We are frequently asked to cater sports clubs and team events and fundraising days, with beef brisket, pulled pork and sausages.
Near East End, barbecues often happen in gardens and fields. Tell us about lanes and ground, and we’ll handle the rest. Our staff serve and clear, so you’re not left handing out rolls.
Before you choose a spot
A barbecue needs a level, open spot outdoors with cover. Here’s what helps:
- A step-free route to wheel the equipment in
- Permission from the venue or landowner
- A level lawn, patio or hard standing

East End: your questions answered
Is East End too small for a barbecue?
Not at all. We cater in villages and hamlets as well as towns. Tell us about lanes, gates and the ground.
Do you cater at venues in the High Weald National Landscape?
Yes. Some venues there have rules about cooking and vehicles, so check with yours. We will work to whatever the site needs.
What does the venue need to provide?
Space and a way in, mainly: a level spot outdoors, clear of buildings, with cover over the grill. We will confirm details when we quote.
Is BBQ catering only for summer?
Most barbecues are in summer, but we can cook in any season, with cover over the grill. Plan shelter for your guests.
Can you barbecue in bad weather?
We bring cover for the grill, but guests will want shelter too.
How do you handle food safety?
Cooking properly is our job: raw and cooked food are kept apart, with separate tongs and boards.
Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes: halloumi and vegetable skewers for vegetarians and a vegan burger or sausage for vegans. Let us know how many to expect.
What happens after service?
Our staff clear the serving area, so you are not left with the mess.
Planning for dietary needs
Tell us about dietary needs early and we will help. Tips:
- Give us numbers for the meat-free options
- Halal is not offered, so arrange it separately if needed
- Mention any guests who avoid beef
- Ask us to label vegetarian and vegan food
If timings change, tell your contact as early as you can, and we’ll work around it where possible.
China crockery is available on request, at extra cost.
Why a catered barbecue beats doing it yourself
Instead of a takeaway delivery, a barbecue becomes part of the event, with the smell drawing people over. The menu makes a big difference to the price: burgers and sausages cost less than brisket and ribs, so the quote shows each choice. Ask us to suggest a menu for your budget.
Why book with us
- Cooked on site by our chef
- Add a hog roast alongside
- Planned to your running order
- Meat-free choices on every menu

Step by step
On the day, we position the grill under cover and get it up to heat. From there, we cook as your guests come up, worked around your serving time. Evening barbecues in East End need a little planning: it’s light until about 9:15pm in June but only about 7:00pm in late September. Plan lights for the serving area after that.
- It starts with your date, venue, numbers and serving time.
- We check availability and the space for the barbecue and send a clear quote.
- On the day we arrive in good time, put the cover up and get the barbecue hot.
- We cook and serve when you are ready to eat.
- We clear the serving area and pack away.
Before we arrive
- Think about shelter for your guests
- Gather dietary requirements early
- Keep the spot clear of buildings, marquee walls and overhanging branches
