The menu, dish by dish

Pulled pork

Pulled pork in a roll with coleslaw is hard to beat, filling and easy to eat.

Beef burgers

A burger is the barbecue classic, loved by most ages.

Allergies and dietary needs

With a bit of planning, dietary needs are easier to handle. Here are a few tips:

  • Ask for gluten-free rolls if anyone needs them
  • Ask about allergens in glazes and sauces
  • Plan separately for anyone who needs halal food
  • Ask us to label vegetarian and vegan food

Slow-cooked meats such as pulled pork and brisket are ready to serve from the start, which takes the pressure off the grill.

Add coleslaw, salads and jacket potatoes for a full meal.

Why choose BBQ catering in The Mint?

Instead of asking a friend to man the grill, a catered barbecue means everyone gets to be a guest, and the food is cooked by people who do it every week. When comparing prices, compare the same things: the menu, sides, service time, staffing, crockery and travel. A cheaper headline price can leave things out.

What you get with us

How the day works

We start by setting up the barbecue and a serving table where we agreed. Then our chef cooks and the team serves for as long as we have agreed. In The Mint, late May sunsets come at about 8:55pm and midsummer ones at about 9:20pm, so most summer barbecues are served in daylight.

  1. Send us the date, the place and roughly how many.
  2. Choose your meats and sides.
  3. We check the space and quote.
  4. We cook on site and serve at the agreed time.
  5. We pack away and leave the area tidy.
