About our BBQ catering in Tiptoe

Food from a barbecue is best eaten hot off the grill, so we cook and serve through the agreed service time. Give us your serving time and we’ll plan around it. Whether it’s work barbecues and school fairs and summer fêtes, we will put together a menu of sausages, pulled pork and halloumi skewers for your guests.

A barbecue in the countryside near Tiptoe makes a lovely summer party. Have a covered area for guests in wet weather, and think about lighting if it runs late. We bring the people to serve and clear up, so nobody in your party has to serve.

The price comes down to:

  • Crockery choices
  • Distance from us

FAQs for Tiptoe

Do you cater at venues in the New Forest National Park?

Yes, though some venues in protected landscapes have extra rules for caterers; ask your venue. We’ll work to whatever the site needs.

Do you come out to small places like Tiptoe?

No, we come to small places too. Let us know about access and the cooking spot.

How far ahead should we book?

The earlier the better for popular dates. But it’s always worth asking: fill in our quote form.

How far ahead should we book a barbecue?

As soon as you know the date, particularly for a summer weekend. Short notice is still worth a try: use our quote form.

Is crockery included?

We bring plates as standard. China crockery is available on request and quoted separately.

Do you do barbecues out of season?

Summer is the busiest time, but we cook all year, with cover over the grill. Guests will want somewhere dry and warm.

Can you do a hog roast as well?

We can. A hog roast gives you a centrepiece and the barbecue adds variety.

Will children like the BBQ?

Most children head straight for the burgers and sausages, and a vegan sausage covers anyone who does not eat meat. Let us know numbers for children.

Diets, allergies and alternatives

We give full allergen information for every dish. To make the most of it:

  • Mention any guests who avoid beef
  • Keep the meat-free options clearly labelled
  • Add a dietary question to the invitation
  • Ask for gluten-free rolls if anyone needs them

If timings change, tell your contact as early as you can, and we will adjust where we can.

A hog roast and a barbecue together cover every taste.

What we serve, dish by dish

Chicken skewers

Chicken skewers are grilled on site, for guests who prefer chicken.

Salads, coleslaw and potatoes

Coleslaw is the natural partner for pulled pork, while salads keep it light.

Organising for someone else?

If you are a venue or event planner, we are happy to work alongside your team.

For events on land you don’t own, such as a park or field, the landowner needs to agree to cooking and vehicles. Sort that first.
