Corporate hog roast in Bridge

Organising for someone else?

Many venues set rules for outside caterers, including where gas cooking is allowed. Check early, and pass on anything they need from us.

Marquee hire companies often have rules about cooking near their tents, so tell them a hog roast is coming. We will keep the roaster well clear of the marquee.

Full catering or machine hire?

Catered or DIY? With catering, our chef roasts, carves and serves, and our staff clear up. With hire only, you do the cooking yourself.

Roasting a whole hog yourself is possible, but it takes hours of attention, from early set-up to carving at the end. A catered hog roast means you can enjoy the day.

How the day works

The roaster cooks outdoors, under a gazebo on level ground, well clear of walls, tents and trees. We agree exactly where before the day. For a staff lunch in Bridge, daylight isn’t an issue, but a winter evening event is dark by about 3:50pm, so plan lighting for later events. A summer after-work event has daylight until about 9:15pm.

  1. Tell us where, when, how many and when you eat.
  2. We confirm the site details and send a price.
  3. The roast starts early on site.
  4. We serve within your break.
  5. We tidy up and leave.

Getting ready for the day

Questions from Bridge

Which station is closest to Bridge?

Bekesbourne station, about 1.2 miles north-east of the centre.

Is Bridge close to London?

Roughly 55 miles from the centre of London, and we cover it as standard.

Is a hog roast smart enough for clients?

Yes. Add china, sides and a second roast for a more formal feel.

Can the hog roast be cooked indoors?

Outside, always. Serving indoors is generally fine if the venue is happy.

Is there a non-pork option?

We can add lamb or chicken, plus halloumi skewers for vegetarians and a vegan burger or sausage. Halal meat is not something we offer.

How big a hog will we need?

We plan quantities from the numbers you give us, and we will talk it through when we quote.

Where on site can you cook?

Most car parks and yards are fine, given level ground and clearance.

What’s included?

The classic: pork in rolls with stuffing, apple sauce and crackling. Sides and extra meats are listed in your quote.

Why choose a hog roast in Bridge?

Next to taking the team out, a hog roast is easier to organise and keeps people together. The main driver is numbers: bigger groups typically cost less per head, because the roaster, staff and travel cost much the same either way.

Why Bridge hosts choose us

  • Crackling for everyone who wants it
  • An itemised quote
  • Timed around your day
  • Sides to make it a full meal

Read our prices page and the cost guide.

Looking after everyone

Some staff won’t eat pork, so it’s worth adding an alternative. Helpful tips:

  • Stuffing normally contains gluten, so check the allergen list
  • Keep alternatives clearly labelled
  • Put the allergen list where people can see it
  • Find out how many do not eat pork, for the alternatives

Let us know about changes: a cooked roast can be held for a while.

A second meat gives the team a choice.
