About our hog roast hire in Coscote
We provide a fully catered hog roast: we roast, our chef carves and our staff serve. If you’d rather do it yourself, we also hire out the machine. For festive gatherings and weddings, day or evening, we can cook hog roast rolls, crackling and rotisserie chicken and more.
For a rural spot like Coscote, a hog roast feels right at home. Tell us about gates, tracks and the ground. The carving happens right in front of your guests, so the pork is hot and the crackling is crisp, and nothing sits in a hot cabinet.

FAQs for Coscote
Is Coscote close to London?
About 50 miles from central London.
We are gathering after a service at Church of St Andrew: can you cater?
Yes, at a home, hall or venue nearby with an outdoor spot for the roaster. Churches rarely have space for a hog roast, so the food is typically elsewhere. Tell us where you’ll gather.
Can we just hire the roaster?
Yes, for confident cooks. Ask and we’ll talk you through it.
Can you cook a hog roast in a small garden?
Access and clearance matter more than size. Tell us about the garden and we will advise.
What’s included?
Rolls with roast pork, stuffing, apple sauce and crackling. Extras include lamb, chicken, halloumi skewers, a vegan option, salads and potatoes.
Do you cover Coscote?
We do. Send us the address and we will check the date.
Who serves?
You don’t need anyone else: we carve, serve and tidy up.
What if things run late?
We work back from when you want to eat, and we can hold the roast for a while if the day runs behind.
Planning for dietary needs
A hog roast is pork, so plan for anyone who does not eat it. Some ways to look after everyone:
- Put the menu on the invitation
- Stuffing normally contains gluten, so check the allergen information
- Add a dietary question to your invitations
- Ask us to keep the vegetarian food separate and labelled
Expect us to be on site for much of the day, since slow roasting starts early.
Ask for gluten-free rolls for anyone who needs them.
Is a hog roast right for your event?
Compared with a cold buffet, hot roast pork carved in front of you is a different experience. Buffets can sit out for hours. Travel matters for the price: we include travel in the quote, with any London charges listed. Give us the address for an accurate figure.

Catered or do it yourself?
Catered or DIY? Catered means we do everything: roasting, carving, serving and clearing. With DIY hire, you do the work and save on staffing.
Timing is the tricky part of roasting your own: a whole hog takes hours, and it needs to be cooked through safely. If you’d rather not worry about it, let us cook.

It is worth planning the cooking area in advance. We look for:
- Nothing overhead that could catch the heat

How we price a hog roast
Things that change the price:
- Which meats and sides you choose
- The serving time and how long we’re on site
- The date and time of year
- How many people are eating
When comparing prices, compare the same things: menu, sides, serving time, staff, plates and travel. The cheapest quote isn’t always the best value.
Getting an accurate quote
We can quote more accurately with a few details. Here’s what’s useful:
- The venue or postcode
- Where the roaster could go, ideally with a photo
- Allergies we should know about
- The date and time of the event
When you’re weighing up caterers, ask each one exactly what’s included. We spell it out in ours. For a quote, fill in our quote form.
- Cooked where you are, slowly, over several hours outdoors
- Carved to order by our chef, with stuffing, apple sauce and crackling
- Vegetarian and vegan choices, plus lamb or chicken if you like
- Our team serves at your chosen time and clears up afterwards
