What affects the price in Baybridge

We work out each quote from:

  • Travel to Baybridge
  • Time on site
  • The date and time of year
  • Numbers

Extras such as lamb, chicken, more sides or china crockery add to the cost, so each one is itemised. Keeping it simple keeps it affordable.

Getting an accurate quote

To check availability and the cooking area, tell us:

  • Any extras, such as lamb, chicken or china
  • Roughly how many people
  • The venue or postcode
  • Allergies we should know about

For a quote, send us a few details: the date and serving time, the venue or SO21 postcode, rough numbers and which extras you’d like. Fill in our quote form.

Full catering or machine hire?

We also hire out the hog roast machine for confident cooks. You cook and carve it yourself; we’ll confirm what comes with it when you ask.

You could roast a hog yourself, but it’s a long day’s work, from setting up and lighting the roaster to carving. With us catering, you get to be a host, not a cook.

Looking after everyone

Most people love a hog roast, but it is pork. Some ways to look after everyone:

  • Count non-pork eaters, for lamb, chicken or a vegetarian choice
  • If any guests need halal food, arrange it separately
  • Give us vegetarian and vegan numbers
  • Give final numbers in good time

We are on site for much of the day, working quietly in the background.

What we serve, dish by dish

Spit-roast lamb

Spit-roast lamb is popular alongside the pork, especially for guests who don’t eat pork.

Rotisserie chicken

For guests who don’t eat pork, rotisserie chicken is the easy answer, and children usually like it too.

Why a carved hog roast beats a buffet

Compared with a three-course plated meal, a hog roast is more relaxed and frequently better value. It still feels special. Travel matters for the price: we include travel in the quote, with any London charges listed. Tell us the exact address for an accurate figure.

Why us?

  • A choice of salads and potatoes
  • Roasted on site, slowly, for hours
  • Timed around your day
  • Carved by our chef in front of your guests

What happens on the day

Serving is straightforward: our chef carves and our staff fill the rolls or plates, with the sides served alongside. Afterwards we clear the serving area and pack away. Golden-hour photos in Baybridge at midsummer come around 9:25pm, which helps us time evening food around your photos. In late May, sunset is about 8:55pm, and in late September about 7:10pm.
