A hog roast near North Warnborough
How our wedding hog roast works in North Warnborough
A hog roast gives your wedding a centrepiece: people gather round as the chef carves. It’s food and a bit of theatre. We are frequently asked to cater barn and farm weddings and late-night wedding food, serving carved roast pork, new potatoes and salads.
There is something special about a country wedding near North Warnborough, and slow-roasted pork carved for guests adds to it. Plan a firm route in, especially if it rains. We bring the people to serve and clear up, so you’re not left handing out rolls or tidying up afterwards.
Planners, venues and businesses
Marquee suppliers usually set distances for cooking equipment, so let them know about the roaster. The roaster stays a safe distance from the marquee.
If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a fête committee, tell us who our contact on the day will be. We’ll keep you both updated.

North Warnborough questions
Which station is closest to North Warnborough?
The closest is Hook station, roughly 1.5 miles away.
How far is North Warnborough from London?
Roughly 41 miles from the centre of London, and well within our area.
Is a hog roast enough for a wedding?
For the main meal, add sides such as salads and potatoes; in the evening, rolls on their own work well.
What if our venue has its own caterer?
Many do, but some only allow approved caterers or charge a fee. Ask your venue early, and we’ll liaise with them.
How long does the roast need?
A whole hog roasts for several hours, which is why we arrive hours ahead. We plan the timings from when you want to eat.
Do you do evening food?
Of course. We will agree a serving time around your running order.
Can you roast in the rain?
We cook under a gazebo, so rain is not a problem for the roast. Somewhere covered for people to eat helps.
Do we need to provide electricity?
No, the roast is cooked on gas. Let us know what’s on site.
The process

Should I cook it myself?
DIY hire works best when someone in the family loves cooking. For bigger or more formal events, catering takes the pressure off.
You could roast a hog yourself, but it is a long day’s work, from early set-up to carving at the end. With us catering, you get to be a host, not a cook.
A hog roast compared with other options
Next to a formal three-course meal, a hog roast is more relaxed and frequently better value. It still feels like a feast. For larger numbers, a hog roast is usually good value, because one whole roast feeds plenty of people. The menu, extras such as china and the serving time all affect the final price.
