We do. Tell us the venue or postcode and we’ll confirm availability.

Is the barbecue cooked on site?

Yes, on site at your venue in Chute Forest. The barbecue needs a level spot outdoors, clear of buildings and trees.

Is barbecued chicken safe?

Meat is cooked until it’s steaming hot all the way through, with no pink and juices running clear, following Food Standards Agency advice.

How to plan a catered barbecue

Planning for dietary needs

A little planning helps everyone eat safely. A few tips:

  • Ask which items contain gluten
  • Let us know roughly how many children are coming
  • Check whether anyone avoids pork or beef when choosing the meats
  • Ask about allergens in glazes and sauces

The barbecue goes where we agreed, so the event carries on around us.

China crockery is available on request, at extra cost.

Before you choose a spot

The grill needs flat ground outdoors and cover overhead. Here’s what we look for:

  • A level spot in the garden, on the patio or drive
  • Somewhere the smoke can drift away from open windows
  • Space away from the house, fences, sheds and trees

If in doubt, send us a picture of the spot and we’ll advise before booking.

What we serve

  • New potatoes
  • Halloumi skewers (V)
  • Beef brisket
  • BBQ ribs
  • Salads
  • Sausages
  • Chicken skewers
  • Pulled pork
  • Coleslaw
  • Jacket potatoes
  • Beef burgers
  • Vegan burger or sausage (Ve)

Organising for someone else?

If you are planning an event on someone’s behalf, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a fête committee, tell us who our contact on the day will be. We’ll keep everyone in the loop.

For venues and planners, we are happy to work alongside your team, sharing timings and a site plan.

A barbecue or other catering?

Instead of asking a friend to man the grill, nobody is left cooking while the party happens, and food safety is in professional hands. The price depends on numbers, the menu and how long we serve, along with distance and how easy the site is. Every booking is different, so we quote each one individually.

What you get with us

  • Staff to serve, so you do not have to
  • Cooked on site by our chef
  • Halloumi skewers and a vegan option
  • Timed around your day

Read how we price and menu ideas for your barbecue.

How the day works

Before service, we set up the grill and the serving table on the agreed spot. Then it’s a case of cooking and serving through the time you’ve chosen. By late September, sunset in Chute Forest is about 7:10pm; in December it’s about 4:00pm. For a late-season barbecue, lunchtime is easiest.

  1. Start with the date, the venue and roughly how many.
  2. We check the cooking spot and quote.
  3. We arrive in good time and get the barbecue hot.
  4. Our chef cooks and our staff serve.
  5. We tidy up and pack away.

Getting ready for the day

  • Confirm your menu choices in good time
  • Let us know about tight access
  • Collect dietary needs and allergies in advance

  • Anything the venue has asked for
  • Allergies we should know about
  • The venue or postcode
  • Roughly how many people
