What catering costs

Each booking is quoted on its own, based on a few main things:

  • Site access
  • The number of people
  • Travel to Maidenhead
  • The date and time of year

Adding lamb, chicken, extra sides or china changes the price, so each one is itemised. Keeping it simple keeps it affordable.

Details that help

For a quick, accurate price, send us:

  • Anything the venue has asked for
  • Roughly how many people
  • Dietary requirements
  • The date and when you’d like to eat

Planning ahead? Popular dates fill up early, so ask early for summer Saturdays and December. Tell us your date and we’ll check it: use our quote form.

Is our catering right for your event?

Next to a drop-off caterer, our team cooks on site and serves your guests, then clear the serving area. The price depends on numbers, the menu and how long we serve, along with distance and how easy the site is. Every booking is different, so we quote each one individually.

Why us?

  • Cooked on site by our chef
  • An itemised quote
  • Two menus to choose from
  • A choice of salads and potatoes

See our prices page and our hog roast and BBQ comparison.

The process

We set up under cover where we agreed, well before food time. With a hog roast we start early; with a barbecue we cook as people eat. In Maidenhead, the sun sets at about 9:25pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so summer evening events are usually served in daylight. In December it’s dark by about 3:55pm.

  1. Share the date, the place and how many.
  2. Pick the food with our help.
  3. We set up before food time.
  4. Hot food is served at the time you chose.
  5. The serving area is cleared before we leave.

How to prepare

  • Think about shelter for your guests
  • Give us final numbers a week or so before
  • Keep the spot clear of buildings, marquee walls and overhanging branches
