Corporate hog roast for your staff event in East Lavington
For a client event, a hog roast carved by a chef makes an impression. With china and sides, it becomes a proper meal. Whether it’s site open days and customer days, we can cook crackling, halloumi skewers and salads and more.
Rural businesses around East Lavington can be a long way from anywhere to buy lunch, so a hog roast lunch is welcome. The carving happens right in front of your staff, so every roll gets hot pork and a piece of crackling, and nothing sits in a hot cabinet.

Should I cook it myself?
The hardest part of a DIY hog roast is timing: a whole hog takes hours, and it needs to be cooked through safely. If that sounds stressful, choose the catered option.
Full catering or machine hire? Catered means we do everything: roasting, carving, serving and clearing. With hire only, you do the cooking yourself.
About the food

Chicken from the rotisserie gives people a non-pork choice, roasted until golden.
Working with your venue
If you are organising for someone else, whether you are a planner, a PA or on a committee, tell us who our contact on the day will be. We will keep everyone in the loop.
Some venues charge a fee if you bring in your own caterer, so it is worth asking first. We’ll liaise with them on access and set-up.

What happens on the day
On the day, we set up the roaster on the agreed spot, put the cover up and start the roast. From there it cooks low and slow for hours, timed so it is ready when you want to eat. For a staff lunch in East Lavington, daylight is not an issue, but a winter evening event is dark by about 4:00pm, so evening events need a lit cooking area. Summer events have daylight until around 9:20pm.
- We start with the site, date, numbers and lunch break.
- You get a check on the date and the site, and a quote.
- We arrive in good time and start the roast under cover.
- We serve quickly within your break.
- We tidy up and leave the site clean.
Before we arrive
- Plan a step-free way in for the equipment
- Have a level outdoor spot ready
- Make sure the cooking area is away from walls, tents and trees
