Corporate hog roast for your staff event in London
A corporate hog roast feeds a team without anyone leaving site. We set up in a car park, yard or courtyard in London, roast through the morning and carve at the time you set. We serve crackling, coleslaw and spit-roast lamb, and we’re regularly asked to cater open days and family days and team treats.

Catered or do it yourself?
Catered or DIY? With catering, our chef roasts, carves and serves, and our staff clear up. With DIY hire, you do the work and save on staffing.
You could roast a hog yourself, but it’s a long day’s work, from setting up and lighting the roaster to carving. With us catering, you get to be a host, not a cook.

For planners, venues and organisers
For workplace bookings, ask your facilities team about outside caterers and gas cooking. We will fit in with site rules.
Organisers may ask for documents such as a risk assessment or gas safety information. Let us know what your event requires and we will tell you what we can send.
How we price a hog roast for your team
There’s no fixed price list, since every event is different. What matters most:
- Time on site
- Menu choices and extras
- Travel to London
- Season and day of the week
Adding lamb, chicken, extra sides or china changes the price, so we list each one in the quote. A simple menu keeps the cost down.
Getting an accurate quote
Here’s what we’ll ask:
- Anything the venue has asked for
- Your menu choices
- Your date and serving time
- The address or postcode
For a quote, send us a few details: the date and serving time, the venue or CR0 postcode, rough numbers and which extras you’d like. Fill in our quote form.
London: your questions answered
What’s the nearest station to London?
London has its own station: Elephant & Castle station.
Could you cook in Newington Gardens?
Only if the landowner, typically the council, allows it. Ask them first, and tell us what they say.
Can it be more formal?
Yes. Add china, sides and a second roast for a more formal feel.
Does the roaster have to be outside?
No, the roast is always cooked outdoors under cover, away from buildings and marquee walls. Serving inside is often possible, with the venue’s agreement.
Can you send documents for facilities?
Each site is different: pass on your list and we’ll respond.
What do you need from us on the day?
Only the space and a contact number. Everything for roasting and serving comes with us.
What if it rains?
We roast under cover, so the food isn’t affected. Your staff will want somewhere dry to eat.
How big a hog will we need?
We size the roast to your numbers, so a good estimate matters. We will confirm the menu in the quote.
The process
We get there well ahead of service, because a whole hog takes hours to roast. The smell typically brings people over long before we carve. After-work summer events in London have light until about 9:20pm at midsummer and 8:50pm in late May, so an after-work hog roast works well in summer. In late September, the light goes at about 7:05pm.
- Send us the site, date, numbers and break time.
- We check access and gas rules and quote.
- The roast starts early on site.
- Our chef carves and our staff serve on time.
- We tidy up and leave.
Before we arrive
- Keep the spot clear of buildings, marquee walls and overhanging branches
- Let us know about tight access
- Make sure we can wheel the roaster to the spot

What we serve, dish by dish
Crackling
For many people, the crackling is the best bit: golden, crunchy and salty, straight off the hog.
