How the day works
We get there well ahead of service, since slow roasting cannot be rushed. The smell typically brings people over long before we carve. In Cyprus, late May sunsets come at about 8:50pm and midsummer ones at about 9:20pm, so most summer parties eat in daylight. Winter parties, dark by about 3:50pm, need lights by the roaster.

We bring cover for the roaster; guests will want somewhere dry to eat if it rains.

As early as you can for summer weekends and December. For other dates, a few weeks can be enough. Send your date and we will check.
Can the hog roast be cooked indoors?
No, the roast is always cooked outdoors under cover, away from buildings and marquee walls. Serving inside is frequently possible, with the venue’s agreement.
When do you start roasting?
It depends on the size of the hog and the weather, but it is several hours. We’ll confirm our arrival time when we quote.
Can you work around our timings?
We’ll be as flexible as we can. Keep us posted on the day and we will adjust.
Do you provide china?
We supply plates as standard. China is available at an extra cost.
