Party hog roast near Agar Town
For a relaxed party, you can hire the machine and cook it yourself. Most people choose the catered option, so they can enjoy the party. For garden parties and retirement celebrations, we’ll put together a menu of hog roast rolls, rotisserie chicken and a vegan burger or sausage.
Most parties in Agar Town are at home, and in London that means getting the roaster into the garden. If there’s no side gate, tell us about rear access or a front garden. Send us a photo. Timings are planned around your party, working back from when you want to eat, so the food is ready at the right moment.

Step by step
Carving is part of the show: our chef carves the pork in front of the queue, and the crackling is shared out so everyone gets some. In Agar Town, late May sunsets come at about 8:50pm and midsummer ones at about 9:20pm, so an early-evening carve is typically in daylight. After about 3:55pm in December, we need light to carve.
- You tell us the date, your address, rough numbers and when you’d like to eat.
- We check the date and the garden or drive, then send a quote.
- On the day we arrive hours ahead and start the roast under cover.
- When it’s time to eat, the chef carves and we serve.
- We clear up and pack away.
Getting ready for the day
- Send final numbers in good time
- Check there is a route to wheel the equipment in, without steps
- Plan somewhere sheltered for people to eat if it rains

Compared with a restaurant booking, you keep the party at home, with room for everyone. Numbers make the biggest difference: bigger groups typically cost less per head, because the roaster, staff and travel cost much the same either way.

Working with your venue
Planning on behalf of a committee? A single point of contact keeps things simple, particularly when timings shift.
Some venues charge a fee if you bring in your own caterer, so it’s worth asking first. We’ll work with the venue on access and the cooking spot.

Events we cater in Agar Town
You’re a host, not a cook.
Whatever the occasion in Agar Town, a hog roast feeds a crowd well. We’re often asked to cater:
- Summer parties in the garden
- Big birthday parties
- Retirement celebrations
- Neighbourhood parties
After a christening at a church like All Saints, a hog roast in the garden is an easy way to feed family and friends.
What your quote should include

- A clear list of what’s included
- Whether plates or china are included
- How long the roast takes and when they’ll arrive
DIY versus a catered hog roast
A barbecue is the other obvious choice, but someone ends up cooking in batches all afternoon. A hog roast cooks in one go and is carved for everyone.
Timing is the tricky part of roasting your own: a big roast takes hours and must be cooked thoroughly. If that sounds stressful, choose the catered option.
About the food
Halloumi and vegetable skewers (V)
Our vegetarian option is halloumi and vegetable skewers: squeaky, salty cheese with colourful veg.
Vegan burger or sausage (Ve)
A plant-based burger or sausage covers vegans, served in a roll with salads.

Where the roaster can go in Agar Town
