About our wedding hog roast in London Docklands
For the wedding breakfast, a hog roast becomes a plated meal: carved pork with salads, new potatoes or roast potatoes, with china available on request. For rustic barn receptions and wedding breakfasts, we can cook crackling, halloumi skewers and spit-roast lamb.
For a wedding in London Docklands, the venue’s rules decide where a hog roast can go. Ask about a courtyard or garden, and we’ll agree the details with them. Plates come as standard, with china available if you’d like it, at an extra cost.

Organising for someone else?
If you’re organising for someone else, such as a wedding planner, an office manager or a fête committee, tell us who our contact on the day will be. We’ll keep everyone in the loop.
Marquee hire companies frequently have rules about cooking near their tents, so let them know about the roaster. We will keep the roaster well clear of the marquee.
Full catering or machine hire?
Catered or DIY? With catering, our chef roasts, carves and serves, and our staff clear up. With DIY hire, you do the work and save on staffing.
A DIY hog roast suits a relaxed party where someone enjoys cooking. For bigger or more formal events, catering takes the pressure off.

What happens on the day
Your timings come first. If the day runs behind, a cooked roast can be kept hot for a while, so tell us as soon as plans change. For a summer wedding in London Docklands, the sun sets at about 9:20pm in late June and about 7:05pm in late September, so evening food is often carved in daylight in June and July. For autumn and winter weddings, when it is dark by about 3:55pm in December, plan lighting at the carving station.
