Wedding hog roast in Swaythling, slow-roasted on site

Weddings in a place like Swaythling often feel personal: a local church, then a marquee in a garden or field. The roaster cooks a safe distance from the marquee. Tell us about access to the field or garden. Plates come as standard, with china available if you’d like it, at an extra cost.

Looking after everyone

You’ll get allergen information for everything we serve. To help:

  • Give your coordinator the final menu
  • Halal is not offered, so plan separately if needed
  • Give us vegetarian and vegan numbers
  • Stuffing normally contains gluten, so check the allergen list

You won’t have to think about the food. We arrive hours before serving, roast through the day and carve on cue.

China crockery can be added for the wedding breakfast, as an extra.

What comes off the roaster

Rolls and gluten-free rolls

A hog roast roll is designed to be eaten in the hand. Gluten-free rolls can be provided on request.

Roast pork

Everything starts with the slow-roasted pork: carved in front of you, a mix of shoulder and leg, straight from the roaster.

Planning help

A hog roast compared with other options

Next to a cold buffet, hot rolls carved to order go down much better. Numbers make the biggest difference: bigger groups usually cost less per head, because the roaster, staff and travel cost much the same either way.

Why book with us

  • An itemised quote
  • A choice of salads and potatoes
  • Planned to your running order
  • The classics: stuffing, apple sauce and crackling

See our prices page and what a hog roast costs.

Full catering or machine hire?

Buying in a cold buffet is another option, but nothing beats hot pork and crackling carved in front of you.

We also hire out the hog roast machine for confident cooks. You cook and carve it yourself; we will explain what’s supplied and how it works when we quote.
