About our corporate hog roast in Kensal Green

A summer party for staff in Kensal Green does not have to mean a restaurant booking. Keep everyone on site with a hog roast. Whether it’s milestone celebrations and long-service celebrations, we will put together a menu of rotisserie chicken, crackling and coleslaw and more.

In Kensal Green, lunch breaks are often short, so we plan the roast and service around it. Let us know about access and site rules. Everything we need to roast, carve and serve comes with us, and we pack away and leave the area as we found it.

Diets, allergies and alternatives

Allergies and dietary needs are easy to manage if we know in advance. Some ideas:

  • Request gluten-free rolls
  • Find out how many do not eat pork, for the alternatives
  • Stuffing typically contains gluten, so check the allergen list
  • Give us vegetarian and vegan numbers

We clear the serving area and pack away, leaving the site as we found it.

Salads and coleslaw make it a fuller lunch.

Why a carved hog roast beats a buffet

Compared with a barbecue run by staff, everyone gets to join in. UK price guides vary widely: roughly £10 a head for a simple roll, rising past £20 with more included. Every event gets its own quote, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Why us?

  • Slow-roasted at your venue, not reheated
  • Timed around your day
  • Halloumi skewers and a vegan option too
  • Serving and clearing done for you

Catered or do it yourself?

Full catering or machine hire? With catering, our chef roasts, carves and serves, and our staff clear up. With hire only, you do the cooking yourself.

Roasting a whole hog yourself is possible, but it takes hours of attention, from setting up and lighting the roaster to carving. With us catering, you get to be a host, not a cook.

Step by step

When we arrive, we set up the roaster on the agreed spot, put the cover up and start the roast. From there it cooks low and slow for hours, worked back from your serving time. Lunchtime bookings in Kensal Green are in daylight all year; winter evening events are dark by about 3:55pm, so evening events need a lit cooking area. Summer events have daylight until around 9:20pm.

  1. We start with the site, date, numbers and lunch break.
  2. We check site access and send a price.
  3. On the day we set up and roast through the morning.
  4. Our chef carves and our staff serve to your timings.
  5. Afterwards we clear up and go.

Before we arrive

  • Measure the narrowest gate or passage
  • Keep the spot clear of buildings, marquee walls and overhanging branches
  • Choose someone to meet us on arrival
