Hog roast hire for your event in Hammersmith
A hog roast is one of the simplest ways to feed a crowd in Hammersmith: a single slow roast, carved to order. We bring the roaster, the cover and the serving kit, and we serve and tidy up afterwards. Typical bookings include sports clubs and societies and corporate events, with new potatoes, rotisserie chicken and hog roast rolls.
In a London neighbourhood like Hammersmith, the big question is getting the roaster to the cooking spot. If there is no side passage, a rear gate, yard or communal space may work, and a picture helps us check. The carving happens right in front of your guests, so every roll gets hot pork and a piece of crackling.

Hammersmith questions
What if our house in Hammersmith has no side access?
It depends on access: a rear gate or yard generally works. Tell us about steps, gates and parking and we will advise.
Can you do a hog roast in Brook Green?
Only if the landowner, typically the council, allows it. Ask them first.
Can you roast in the rain?
We roast under cover, so the food is not affected. Your guests will want somewhere dry to eat.
Do you bring plates?
We bring plates as standard. If you’d like china, ask and we will add it to the quote.
Do we need to provide electricity?
The roaster runs on gas, so we don’t need mains power to cook. A socket nearby is useful for lighting.
Can you cater for vegetarians?
Add lamb, chicken, halloumi and vegetable skewers or a vegan option. Please note we don’t offer halal meat.
When should we book?
The earlier the better for popular dates. But it’s always worth asking: fill in our quote form.
Do you cover Hammersmith?
Yes, Hammersmith is in our area. Send us the address and we will check the date.
Where the roaster can go in Hammersmith
Most outdoor spaces can work with a little planning. Here’s what helps:
- Any venue rules sorted in advance
- Vehicle access close to the cooking area
- Access for our equipment, without steps
As a London location, Hammersmith is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and access takes planning: tell us about side or rear access, steps and parking for our vehicle.
Not sure about the cooking spot? Send us a picture and we will tell you honestly.

Is a hog roast right for your event?
Next to a formal plated meal, a hog roast needs no kitchen and fewer staff, which normally keeps the cost down. What you pay covers the meat, the chef and staff, and hours of roasting. A long, slow roast means an early start, and the quote reflects that.
Why us?

- All the equipment comes with us

Allergies and dietary needs
Tell us about dietary needs early and we will help. Some ideas:
- Request gluten-free rolls for coeliac guests
- If anyone needs halal food, plan a separate option
- Give us numbers for vegetarians and vegans for the halloumi skewers and vegan option
- Tell guests what’s on the menu in advance
We bring the cover, the carving table and the serving kit, so you only need to provide the space.
We can supply china instead of standard plates, quoted separately.
What affects the price in Hammersmith
There’s no fixed price list, because every event is different. What matters most:
- Plates or china
- Season and day of the week
- The number of people
- Access to the cooking area
Midweek and quieter months are frequently easier to book, and the menu you choose matters too. Tell us your budget and we’ll suggest what works.
What we need to know
For a quick, accurate price, tell us:
- Any venue rules
- The venue or postcode
- Allergies we should know about
- Which meats and sides you’d like
Send us the date, the address or W6 postcode and rough numbers, plus when you’d like to eat. We’ll check the date and send a quote. Use our quote form.
Organising for someone else?
For venues and planners, we can fit around your other suppliers.
Marquee hire companies often have rules about cooking near their tents, so tell them a hog roast is coming. The roaster stays a safe distance from the marquee.
Catered or do it yourself?
Full catering or machine hire? With catering, our chef roasts, carves and serves, and our staff clear up. With hire only, you do the cooking yourself.
We also hire out the hog roast machine for confident cooks. You do the roasting and carving; we’ll explain what’s supplied and how it works when we quote.
How the day works
The roaster cooks outdoors, under a gazebo on level ground, away from buildings, marquee walls and overhanging branches. We will agree the spot with you beforehand. Because the roast takes hours, daylight is worth planning: in Hammersmith, sunset is around 8:55pm in late May and 9:20pm in late June, but by late December it is dark by about 3:55pm, so winter bookings need lighting from mid-afternoon.
- First, tell us about your event.
- You get an availability check and a clear quote.
- Timings and the cooking area are agreed in advance.
- We roast slowly on site, then carve for your guests.
- Our staff serve and clear, then we pack away.
How to prepare
- Choose a level, open spot outdoors for the roaster
- Confirm numbers ahead of the day
- Ask about allergies and dietary needs beforehand
