Slow-roasted pork in West Ham
How our corporate hog roast works in West Ham
A carving station gives a client event a sense of occasion. With china and sides, it becomes a proper meal. We’re frequently asked to cater team treats and retirement do’s, serving crackling, halloumi skewers and salads.
London work events in West Ham often run to a tight lunch break, so we plan the roast and service around it. Tell us about site access and security. The carving happens right in front of your staff, so every roll gets hot pork and a piece of crackling.

Catered or do it yourself?
Catered or DIY? With catering, our chef roasts, carves and serves, and our staff clear up. With DIY hire, you do the work and save on staffing.
Timing is the tricky part of roasting your own: a big roast takes hours and must be cooked thoroughly. If you’d rather not worry about it, let us cook.
A hog roast or other catering?
Compared with sandwich platters, hot carved pork feels much more special. Distance is part of the price: travel is included in your quote, with any London charges listed. Tell us the exact address so the quote is accurate.

Planners, venues and businesses
Organisers may ask for documents such as a risk assessment or gas safety information. Tell us what you need and we’ll tell you what we can send.
Marquee hire companies frequently have rules about cooking near their tents, so let them know about the roaster. We will keep the roaster well clear of the marquee.
Prices and what affects them
Each price is built from:
- Crockery choices
- Site access
- Which meats and sides you choose
- Time on site
Cost depends on numbers, menu choices and service time, along with distance and how easy the site is. There’s no one-size price, which is why each one gets its own quote.
Getting an accurate quote
To check availability and the cooking area, we’ll need:
- Dietary requirements
- Where the roaster could go, ideally with a photo
- Your menu choices
- Where the event is
A quote from us sets out the menu, timings, staffing and what’s included, so it is easy to compare like for like. Send us your details through our quote form.
West Ham questions
Can you get a hog roast into a London garden in West Ham?
Often, if there is a rear gate, a front garden or a yard we can use. Tell us about steps, gates and parking and we’ll advise.
Could you cook in West Ham Park?
Only with permission from the park’s owner, generally the council, and many parks do not allow cooking. Check with them first.
Can you do a hog roast for a client event?
Yes. Add china, sides and a second roast for a more formal feel.
How do we book for a business?
Get in touch with your details, and the quote will include the terms.
Can we just hire the roaster?
Yes, for confident cooks. We’ll explain the details with your quote.
Do you clear up?
We pack everything away after service, and we take our equipment with us.
What do you need from us on the day?
A clear, level cooking spot, a route to wheel the equipment in and a contact for the day. We will bring the rest.
What if it rains?
We roast under cover, so the food is not affected. Plan somewhere sheltered for eating.
How the day works
A hog roast is always cooked outside, under a gazebo on level ground, well clear of walls, tents and trees. We will agree the spot with you beforehand. After-work summer events in West Ham have light until about 9:20pm at midsummer and 8:50pm in late May, so an after-work hog roast works well in summer. In late September, the light goes at about 7:05pm.
